Children, Youth and Families, which is part of the Department of New Mexico, is a two story general office building. The facility is served by two roof mounted package VAV units (electric refrigeration and natural gas morning warm-up). Conditioned air is distributed to zone VAV boxes. Each VAV is provided with a hot water heating coil. Hot water is generated from one high efficiency natural gas fired boiler. Hot water is distributed with a reverse piping system, utilizing two pumps in an operational and stand-by configuration. This building serves as a class A office space for the administration of many functions for the Children, Youth and Families Department of New Mexico.
