The original contract for the Los Alamos Research Park consisted of a finished shell for story/light lab building with a partial basement. The mechanical system consists of two remote 118 ton air cooled chillers and seven VAV air handling units located throughout the building and boilers located in the penthouse. The eves on the building received a hot water snow melt system. The primary air system is a medium pressure variable air system with hot water reheat. The plumbing generally consists of a central core toilet group on each floor and a roof drain system.
